Crazy Week!

Well 4 weeks have passed since ive been here in Elgin, we are suppose to have 2 baptisms next week so i really really hope that they stay on the right track. We have another guy that we are teaching and his wife is a member already. They are like the perfect little family, they have a 2 year old daughter and she is 2 months pregnant so what better time is there to get baptized!!!??? he is an awesome guy though, he has been to church 3 out of the 4 weeks we have been here. Transfers are in two weeks and me and my companion are dreading the phone call from the President saying one of us is getting moved because we have made so much progress here. Oh and my companion is Elder Mcmurry and he is from Dallis and he is like half of my size haha so i have to protect us if anything goes wrong. So far since i left home ive lose like 15 or 20 pounds and none of my pants fit very good anymore haha. Its been really hot and humid here and they keep telling me August is going to be worse! Im about as dark as Dane right now and my hair is turning blonde! it seriously is! haha i dont think i like it. I had a chance to go and work in Columbia this week in the down town area, i will hopefully have my pics ready for you next week from there, it was an awesome experience! I got to go down to the college and see their baseball and football stadiums which are AMAZING! we went and knocked some doors around the campus but didnt really have any success. We did find some families to teach though on another side of town! I was in the ghetto areas too and it was actually the best part of the whole exchange! The people there are awesome and they will talk to you all day about jesus if you let them haha. Well im running short on time so next everyone have fun with the 24th celebrations without me! the ward here actually does a little get together so hopefully we go but until next week remember to press forward!
