For Ya'll‏

Hey everyone, its been a tough week here back in Elgin. It has been a big faith testing and building couple of days. 3 more of our investigators dropped us this week because of their pastors or minister told them that we are spreading false doctrine, but the truth is we are just taking money away from the preachers and ministers when we baptize. I dont know how some people can feel the spirit and know that this is the true church and then turn away from it when there preacher tells them its "false". One of my zone leaders gave me a quote this week because i told him that we should go talk to this preachers and share the gospel with them, but he told me " To pray that heavenly father will put one arm around my shoulder and his other hand on my mouth" haha. We had a general authority that came to the mission a few years ago that told all the missionaries, "we dont bash, we dont bash, we dont bash, we dont bash, but when we do bash we win!" Its hard to not get offended by some of the things people say to you around here, but somehow im always able to leave them with a smile and a "have a nice day". My companion decided to tell me that he was going home after this transfer so now my goal is to help him finish in white, aka finish with a baptism. We are going to work even harder this transfer then we did last so i expect at least 1000 miles on the bikes. On saturday we added up our miles just for the day and we were over 35. I never thought i would be able to ride 35+ miles on a bike in one day! but it isnt me, its the Lord that is really doing it for me. I want everyone to pull out there book of mormon and read alma 26. "I do not boast in my own strengthm nor in my own wisdom; but behold my joy is full, yea, my heart is brim with joy, i will rejoice in my God. 12 "Yea, I know that i am nothing; as to my strength i am weak; therefore i will not boast of myself, but i will boast of my God, for in his strength i can do all things; yea, behold, many mighty miracles we have wrought in this land for which we will praise his name forever."
