Everything is gonna be alright, be strong, BELIEVE :)

Hey everyone! So this week has been pretty good due to the situation that we are in with my hip. We went to the doctor and wednesday and i had some x-rays taken and i have bursitis, which is inflammation in my hip joint i guess. They gave me pain pills and an anti-inflammatory but they arent working too well so i will probably be getting a cortisone shot soon. So this is the end of week 4! crazy huh! transfers are in 2 and a half weeks and the way things are looking ill be packing up and heading to a different area. With all the craziness the past couple weeks we have been a little discouraged and we havent had the best of luck but the lord lets a slip just a little bit so he can lift us back up to show us that he is still by our side. We now have a 16 year old girl named Melissa who is getting baptized on the 23rd of october. The lord truely blessed us by putting her in our path. Her grandfather is a less active member and he brought her to church a couple weeks ago and she said that everything feels right and it just feels good to be at the LDS church. She is a golden investigator and Elder Hightower and i are excited about her baptism. I have a goal set that i will baptize with every companion that i have on my mission, so far im 1 for 1 with Elder Mcmurry. South Carolina was pretty crazy this past saturday with USC beating the #1 team in the nation. Lets just say there was alot of "interesting" people in the parking lot of our apartment complex after the game, college football is pretty big over here haha. All is well right now in the South and we will keep working as hard as we can so we can find the lords elect! I love ya'll and i hope you have a fantastic week! - Elder Hancock
