I want to thank everyone for the emails i got this week, they really helped me out today. My hip is still about the same so the mission doctor is sending me to the orthopedic surgeon this week to see what he can do for me. Hopefully we get this figured out soon so i can get back to 100 %. I did a little bit of Spanish work this week with Elder Mcbeth in the Windsor lake area and that was a pretty humbling experience. I sat in on about 6 Spanish lessons and i didn't have a clue what anyone was saying. But i picked up on a few phrases so who knows maybe ill have a Spanish companion one day and ill be able to teach in Spanish! I learned something really cool this week in my scripture studies. With Poads passing and everything that has happened since ive left with my dad having his pacemaker put in and i remember them telling me that the doctor said he had to of had a guardian angel watching over him, so ive just had alot of thought about Angels. And Thursday morning that word came into my mind during scripture studies. I thought to myself "hmm ill look that up in the bible dictionary to see what its definition is". When i thought about angels i thought of those who had already passed on they are heavenly beings, like the Angel Moroni for instance. When i turned to the bible dictionary i found a surprise answer. What it says is that an Angel is a messenger of God, i thought to myself, "that's what i am, that's what all missionaries are". All of us that share this message of the restored gospel are Angels. My testimony has grown so much in these last 4 months, all these trials and challenges ive had to endure have just made me even stronger and has made my testimony stronger. Every morning we get up and say our standing quotes. One of them is from Elder Bruce R. McConkie, and is called "My Commission" its probably my favorite one to recite because of its power. Its says " I am called of God. My authority is above that of the kings of the earth. By revelation i have been chosen as a personal representative of the lord Jesus Christ, He is my master. He has chosen me to represent him, to stand in his place, to say and do what he himself would say and do if he personally were ministering to the very people to whom he has sent me. My voice is his voice, my acts are his acts, my words are his words and my doctrine is his doctrine. My commission is to do what he wants done to say what he wants said, to be a living modern witness in word and in deed of the divinity of his great and marvelous latter day work. HOW GREAT IS MY CALLING!". I leave on that not but thank you again everyone for your prays and hopefully this week will be better then the last, but as our Tongan missionary, Elder Tukufui, " Rejoice! you on your mission!" Love Ya'll - Edler Hancock
